Castle Meersburg

The oldest inhabited castle in Germany was founded in the 7th century. 30 rooms are available to visitors, including a medieval castle kitchen, armory, knights' hall, castle dungeon, stable and torture chamber. One of the rooms is dedicated to Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, one of the most important German writers of the 19th century
