Børkop is a small town with a history dating back to medieval times. There is a marina and a beach here, thanks to which lovers of resting by the water eagerly come here in summer.
The first records of the village date back to the 14th century. There was a mill here, the traditions of which survived until the beginning of the 20th century. Currently, the village is developing mainly as a holiday resort. There is Hvidbjerg beach and the modern Brejning marina with accommodation and catering facilities. It is intended for sailing boats and yachts.
The attraction of Børkop is the Skærup Zoo, where you can see meerkat jaguars, monkeys, and farm animals such as ponies and sheep. There is also the local Kellers Minde museum in the city, which presents the life of the inhabitants of these areas in the past.
