Stockholm Slussen on the historic Gamla Stan district in the center of the Swedish capital. One-day ferry trips take place from this place, thanks to which we can admire the architecture of the oldest part of Stockholm. It is also a ferry terminal from which we can reach other islands in the area.
We can walk to the waterfront from the city center. It is a popular marina, the main starting point to reach the historic and extremely important for Stockholm island of Djurgården, Sweden's first open-air museum, the most popular museum in Stockholm, the Vasa Museum, and the Gröna Lund amusement park.
In addition to ferry trips, there are several interesting restaurants located in charming tenement houses, such as Skeppsbar or Miss Behave Bar. On the same street, at a distance, we also find another ferry terminal: Stockholm Skeppsbron.
