S. J. Thugutt Geological Museum

Geological Museum im. SJ Thugutta is housed in the Faculty of Geology at the University of Warsaw. Among the collections are numerous minerals, fossils and rocks. Regular exhibitions of geological discoveries of university scientists and geological studies in Poland are also regularly organized. Until 2008 the museum was called the Museum of Geology.

Visiting the museum and lectures on geology, glaciers and marshes is part of the active contribution of the Geological Department to the 20th edition of the 2017 Science Festival.
