Marshal Rydz-Śmigły Park

Local name: Park Marszałka Rydza-Śmigłego

Park of Marshal Rydz-Śmigły is one of the largest green areas of Warsaw. Partly located on the Warsaw Escarpment, the park stretches all the way to the Vistula, thus creating long walking paths and cycle paths adored by cyclists. There are many memorials located in the park. One of the major attractions of the park is the fountain and the associated water system. In the area of the park there is the Wisła Trail and the Podskarpowa Bicycle Track, both dedicated to lovers of two wheels.

During hiking trips in the Park of Marshal Rydz-Śmigły you can find monuments ("Glory to the Sappers", statue of Halina Mikołajewska and a monument to Insurgents of Czerniaków and Soldiers of the 1st Polish Army), stones with memorial plaques and a bench dedicated to Jan Nowak Jeziorański.
