The museum documents the changes that have occurred in agricultural technology and the rural industry over the centuries. It is located in the historic manor and the surrounding park, in which exhibition pavilions were built. The museum exhibition is divided into several sections. There is, among others, a unique collection of windmills and steam agricultural machines. The museum regularly organizes outdoor and educational events.
The Museum in Szreniawa was established in 1964. It is currently one of the largest collections in the world illustrating the changes taking place in agriculture and village life. About 20,000 exhibits have been collected here. A dozen or so permanent exhibitions concern, among others, agricultural production, animal husbandry, machinery and tools used in agriculture, food processing, rural craft or transport.
The exhibition is very extensive. In addition to strictly agricultural tools, the appearance of craft workshops from various eras was presented. The exhibitions were arranged to show how tools and machines used on the farm and agricultural production changed. Many of the vehicles presented here, such as tractors from the turn of the century, are unique in the country.
