The National Park of Greater Poland is located by the marsh of the Warta River, to the south of Poznań. It's a living natural museum consisting of 12 picturesque lakes. The area of the park is mostly forested. Dominating tree species is pine which constitutes pine and pine-oak forests.
National Park of Greater Poland also has interesting monuments. It's worth to take a look at the ruins of the castle of Klaudyna Potocka which can be found by the Góreckie Lake. What is also worth to see are glacial landforms, hills, and glacial erratics.
