Museum - Literary Workshop of Arkady Fiedler
Local name: Muzeum - Pracownia Literacka Arkadego Fiedlera
The studio presents souvenirs imported from around the world by the writer and traveler. There are tribal masks, ceramics, sculptures, fabrics, stuffed animals, and loads of other objects from the most distant parts of the Earth. The museum collection also includes items related to Fiedler's involvement in World War II.
The villa where the museum is located dates back to 1926. Arkady Fiedler bought her after returning from war and settled in Puszczykowo with her family. He brought home all the souvenirs of his travels. Since a lot of people wanted to watch them, he decided to adapt the house to create the exposure. Today it is a museum that is still in contact with the family of the 303 Squadron.
Arkady Fiedler spent a large part of his life outside Poland. From his travels he brought objects related to the life of the peoples of the whole world. They are the main part of the collection. In 2003, a separate exhibition of the Mysterious World of Indians was released. Apart from that, Fiedler's villa presents his books and souvenirs from World War II. A large part of this collection is about 303 Squadron. A Garden of Tolerance was created around the Museum. There are sculptures depicting objects of worship of different religions.
