Stary Browar combines the features of a shopping center and art gallery. It covers the area of impressive 130 000m2. It consists of 210 food and shopping courts. Stary Browar is run according to the "50:50" plan of Grażynka Kulczyk. Half of the building serves as a shopping center and the other half is fully dedicated to art. The avant-garde hotel Blow Up Hall 50 50, which interiors were inspired by movie "Blowup" by Michelangelo Antonioni can also be found there.
Parts of the former boiler house, the original chimney from the former brewery, and also part of the boiler built into the wall from 1921 can be viewed in Dziedziniec Sztuki. The new wing of Stary Browar, which was opened in 2007, consists of six floors with shops and the family entertainment center.
