Plac Wolności Fountain

The fountain situated at Plac Wolności (Freedom Square) is the only fountain in Poznań that can be entered into. Inside there is a bench where visitors can relax while feeling like inside a waterfall.

The building was built in the summer of 2012, is 9 meters high, and its shape resembles a sail. It is made of two 10-meter wings made of bent glass. Water flows down on the wings to the pool. In summer, one can cool off in it, and even bathe. At night, the fountain emanates coloured light. For residents and tourists, it has become a shelter from the everyday buzz and noise.
