Local name: Wzgórze Uniwersyteckie

University Hill also called Hill is the highest hill of Opole. There are buildings of the University of Opole, rebuilt from the former Dominican monastery, as well as the church on Górka and the chapel of Saint Wojciech. There are also numerous sculptures, both historic and contemporary, including the very rare Baroque performances of the "Four Seasons".

University Hill is 165 m above sea level. It is also called the Opole Acropolis. In the past there were quarries here, with time the Dominicans settled. After the dissolution of the order, the buildings were turned into a hospital and then into a university. Near them there is also the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint Adalbert. At the beginning of the 20th century, the University of Opole also rebuilt the chapel of Saint Adalbert, which according to records was to stand in the place where the bishop celebrated mass in the 10th century.

Sculptures are a characteristic element of the landscape of the University Hill. There are several of them here. The oldest are from the Baroque period. There are, among others, the Marian column from Regulice nad Nysa, "Four Seasons", classical sculptures of Diana and Venus reconstructed almost from scratch, as well as contemporary, Dominican Column, images of Agnieszka Osiecka and Czesław Niemen.
