Local name: Pettelaarse Schans

The defensive structure, also called Fort Saint Michael, was built in 1623 and demolished in 1672. Fortifications have never been rebuilt. Currently, their only trace is a row of trees planted in 2012 on the outer line of the former bastion walls.
