About 3,200 boxwood creates this extraordinary labyrinth space. The labyrinth has only one exit, to which a 1 km long route leads, assuming that the visitor will not get lost. The labyrinth was built by the Cini Foundation according to the design of the English architect Randoll Coate. It was to be a tribute to Jorge Luis Borges a writer from Buenos Aires on the 25th anniversary of his death.
In the maze, one cannot miss numerous inspirations from one of Borges's stories, namely the Garden of Fork Books. Strolling among boxwoods, you can find symbols dear to the author of the story.
The garden covers an area of 2,300 m2. Seen from above, the maze looks like an unfolded book on a handrail.
