Chiesa di Santa Susanna alle Terme di Diocleziano in Rome is a historic temple built in the Baroque style. Inside, you can admire the gilded coffered ceiling and the frescoes "Gloria di Santa Susanna" in the apse dome, by Cesare Nebbia.
A valuable monument is also the paintings in the main nave by Baldassare Croce. They depict scenes from the life of the patron of the temple, Saint. Susanna. The presbytery is decorated with frescoes with images of two martyrs: St. Gabino and Saint. Felix.
Five martyrs and saints of the Catholic church are buried in the church, including Pope Eleutherius and Genésio de Roma.
The choir is decorated with frescoes depicting scenes from the Old Testament. The church design was created by Carlo Maderno at the beginning of the 17th century. The temple was built for a female Cistercian monastery.
