Ortona is a coastal town known for its well-preserved medieval Aragonese castle. There are several nice beaches here and the remains of old buildings. The dome of St. Thomas Aquinas, which is his place of worship.

Ortona's biggest attraction is the well-preserved Aragonese Castle. It stands on the highest point of the city and is a great viewpoint over this part of the coast. You can see the historic fortifications and an exhibition located in one of the towers.
