Baceno is an alpine village situated in a beautiful mountain valley. It is surrounded by a natural park covering areas from the bottom of the valley to the peaks reaching over 3,300 meters above sea level.
The village is small and consists of several settlements. Some of them have old, stone buildings. But there are also modern, although kept in an alpine climate, pensions, hotels and apartments for rent.
The idyllic landscape, peace, tranquility and beautiful views are the main attractions of the Baceno area. The town can be a great starting point for exploring the surrounding trails. Most of them lead through the Alpe Veglia and Alpe Devero parks. One and multi-day routes of varying difficulty have been prepared here. In winter, there is a small Devero 2.0 ski resort with several kilometers of ski slopes and cross-country skiing trails.
