Massive copper statue erected in 1614-1698. The statue was designed by Giovan Battista Crespi (known as Il Cerano) shortly after the canonization of St. Charles Borromeo. The statue, 23.5 meters high, standing on a granite pedestal 11.5 meters high, can be visited. The interior can be accessed via narrow stairs and ladders.
