The Debrecen House of Literature and the Ferenc Medgyessy Memorial Museum have two permanent exhibitions, which present part of the collections belonging to the Déri Museum. The exhibitions allow you to get acquainted with the figures of significant Hungarian writers, with their lives and works. A separate exhibition was dedicated to the Hungarian sculptor Ferenc Medgyessy.
The exhibition entitled "Dreaming Hungarians - Stories from the history of Debrecen literature" is divided into several parts. Arranged here among others Gábor Oláh's room and Mihály Vitéz Csokonai's room. A separate, interactive part of the exhibition presents 19th and 20th century writers and poets associated with Debrecen.
Ferenc Medgyessy is one of the most famous Hungarian sculptors, twice awarded the Kossuth Award and many other awards. In the part of the museum that has been dedicated to him, we will see the artist's workshop, as well as many designs and drawings of his works.
