A cylindrical obelisk surrounded by columns, with a winged figure on top. It was built in the second half of the 4th century BC on the orders of Lysicrates, a wealthy obyatel of Athens, who sponsored one of the local theater groups. The obelisk commemorates winning the prize by the show he was the patron of.
