Le Pradet is a small resort town on the Cote d'Azur. It offers a quiet rest, sandy and pebble beaches and a small marina.
The town is situated in a deep, secluded bay. Both the sea and the mountains descending towards it are visible from every place. The sea is calm and warms up quickly. The area is known for water sports such as sailing and sea kayaking.
Unlike most towns on the Côte d'Azur, Le Pradet does not have a strict historical center. A larger cluster of houses, restaurants and shops is located by the port, and the rest of the town consists of single villas, guesthouses and apartments scattered on the slope of the mountains, surrounded by gardens or standing in pine groves.
The beaches that are the biggest attraction of Le Pradet are quite narrow, sand and gravel. Some of them have back-up facilities and equipment rentals, and many you can relax on your own. There is a promenade along the seashore.
