A complex of artificial beaches in the southern part of Marseille, which were created in the 1970s from sand extracted during the construction of the metro line. They are currently the largest beach area of the city. Because of the extensive lawns right on the beach, this place is valued by amateurs of playing football and playing sports outdoors.
