Old Port of Marseille

The first marina was built here in the 6th century BC, the quays, galleon shipyard and arsenal were built in the period from the 15th to the 17th century - now the old port is the most-visited tourist place in Marseille. The historic buildings around the docks house numerous museums, galleries, countless restaurants, cafes and clubs.
