Emirates Stadium
Emirates Stadium is a football stadium where Arsenal team has been playing matches since 2006. In the year of putting it into use, it had the largest pitch in the entire Premier League (100x67m) and was the second-largest object in the Premiership. All seats at the stadium are seated and their maximum number is over 60,000.
The name of the stadium is quite a problematic issue. Initially referred to his address, which is Ashburton Grove, so it is still called by most fans. However, in 2004 Emirates bought the name of the facility for the next fifteen years. Officially it is now the Emirates Stadium, often shortened to The Emirates itself. Nevertheless, the new name is not recognized by UEFA, because the airline company is not among the main sponsors of the Champions League, which is a prerequisite for the official change of the stadium name. Hence for UEFA it is still Ashburton Grove or Arsenal Stadium.
