Camden Market
Camden Market is one of the largest bazaars in London. It is located in the Camden Town, on Regent's Channel. The history of this place began in 1974, when a small market with 16 stands was opened. Currently, there are over 1000 original stands.
Many shops are located in historic horse stables that once transported goods along the canal. This is remembered by numerous horse statues located in different parts of the market. You can buy almost anything at Camden Market: clothing, footwear, jewelry, books, vinyls. Something for everyone will find fans of vintage, punk, metal, hippie styles. One of the most interesting stores is Cyberdog, which offers trance-style clothes and gadgets. It is hard not to notice him, because there are 2 silver robots standing in front of the entrance.
In 2014, a monument to the singer Amy Winehouse, who was associated with the Camden Town district, was unveiled in Camdem Market. She lived there, and when she was a teenager, she sold at one of the stands.
