Handel & Hendrix in London

Handel & Hendrix in London is an interior museum dedicated to two music giants - Georg Friedrich Haendl (1685-1759) and Jimmy Hendrix (1942-1970). The German and American stayed in London 200 years apart - they both ended their lives here. They lived on the same street - Brook Street 23 and 25, where their common museum is now located.

Hendrix's apartment was reconstructed at 23 Brook Street, which he moved into in 1968. The work was supervised by Kathy Etchingham, a music partner from Brook Street. At number 25 is Handel's house, where the composer of operas and oratorios spent the last 36 years of his life. The current equipment corresponds to that of the 18th century.

Handel & Hendrix in London, apart from exhibitions and creating collections of souvenirs from Hendrix and Handel, deals with the promotion of young musical talents, conducts instrumental courses, and organizes concerts of classical and rock music.
