City Hall

London City Hall is an example of high-tech architecture. It has an irregular, futuristic shape and is 45 meters high. This corresponds to 12 floors, which are located inside, of which two are underground. The building is covered with triangular glazed windows with a total area of 7300 m2. On the top floor there is the public exhibition 'Living Room in London'.

The town hall was built according to the design of Sir Norman Foster in 2002. It was part of the "More London" project. During construction, advanced computer modeling techniques were used. Great importance was also attached to the fact that the building was the most ecological and economical in use. Its shape ensures optimal energy efficiency and the rooms are naturally ventilated. Cooling the building ensures the use of groundwater, which is then used as water for flushing toilets.
