The Shard
A skyscraper with a total height of 309.7 meters, built in the heart of London. Established in 2012 and has since been the largest building in the UK, as well as fourth in Europe and 96 in the world. Inside there are office buildings, restaurants, a hotel, apartments and a viewpoint.
The building has 72 floors, divided by utility. The Shard was designed by the popular Italian architect Renza Piana, and the building itself was built on the site of earlier Southwark Towers.
The observation point was opened in 2013. It is located at 244.3 meters and is a popular tourist attraction in London. The city panorama can be admired both from the inside of The Shard and from the external terrace. In addition to spectacular views, visitors can also make purchases at the unique The Sky Boutique, which is the highest store in London.
