Fleet Air Arm Museum

The Fleet Air Arm military museum, established in 1964, is located at the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton in Ilchester. Inside, we can find exhibitions devoted to British naval aviation, see numerous exhibits of airplanes or visit the control tower from the inside.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum is a space divided into four halls - four categories devoted to different episodes of history and various exhibits. In the first and second part, we will hear stories about World War I and World War II, and we will also be able to admire such famous players as the MiG-15 or Supermarine Walrus. In addition to airplanes, the exhibition also includes objects such as a model of the Japanese Yokosuka MXY7 piloted bomb, aircraft engines and aviation equipment. In the third hall, we will feel like the crew of an aircraft carrier - there is a huge mock-up of the HMS Ark Royal deck. The fourth hall is a space for prototypes and experimental machines.
