Saas-Fee is an all-year-round alpine resort known for its perfectly prepared ski slopes and numerous opportunities for active leisure in summer. In addition to hiking trails, there are adventure parks and routes that require climbing skills.
The town is located in the highest part of the Saas valley and is surrounded by a dozen alpine four-thousanders. On their slopes there are about 150 km of ski and snowboard slopes serviced by 22 cable cars and lifts. One of them is Metro Alpin, which takes you to the revolving restaurant on the ridge.
In winter, visitors to Saas-Fee will find not only pistes, but also cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs and winter mountain hiking trails. In turn, in summer, the area becomes an ideal place for enthusiasts of active recreation. In addition to 350 km of hiking trails, you can take advantage of mountain bike trails, a year-round toboggan run and mountain scooters. Another attraction of Saas-Fee is the Adventure Forest Rope Park and the Alpine Gorge, where a route is led using hanging ladders and zip-lines.
