The museum is the first gallery dedicated to literature in French-speaking Switzerland. On the first floor, an audiovisual tour invites guests to immerse themselves in the life of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The museum was founded in the house where the artist was born on June 28, 1712. Visitors can listen to fragments of his literary and musical works, as well as discover the work of contemporary writers.
