Flums is an alpine village in the Schilz valley. It is part of the large Flumserberg ski region with 65 km of pistes, numerous cross-country ski runs and a good apres-ski base.

The town consists of many smaller settlements separated by alpine meadows and well connected with each other. In winter, there is easy access to the ski slopes. They are served by several ski lifts and cable cars, including the Unterterzen-Flumserberg cableway, the Maschgenkamm-Arve cableway, the Prodkamm Flumserberg cableway or the Chrüz Tannenboden cableway.

There is also a snow park in the center, skiing and snowboarding schools, equipment rentals and service. You can also take advantage of the offer of other winter activities, such as snowshoe tours, dog sledding, cross-country skiing routes and more. There are also numerous restaurants, spa and wellness centers in Flums and the surrounding villages.

In summer, the entire Flums area is great for hiking. There are several hundred kilometers of hiking trails here, as well as well-prepared bicycle routes. A popular destination for excursions is, among others Maschgenkamm viewing platform from where you can admire the panorama of the Alps.
