Ses Salines is a small resort town in Mallorca. In its vicinity there are many sandy beaches hidden in bays sheltered from the wind. The area around the village is characterized by beautiful landscapes and a developed coastline.
The most important attraction of Ses Salines are the local sandy beaches. Some of them, located closer to the town, are well developed and have back-up facilities such as bars or equipment rentals. d'es Dolç Beach is such a beach. On the other hand, remote beaches, such as d'es Carbó, are largely free from amenities. The nudist beach, Es Dofi, is also nearby.
A short distance from the village there is a picturesque cape of Cap de Ses Salines. It is the southernmost point in Mallorca, characterized by magnificent cliffs and numerous headlands that break into the sea.
In Ses Salines you can also see a lot of traditional, historic buildings, including burgher houses and the Renaissance town hall. On the outskirts of the town there is a Botanicactus garden with a huge collection of cacti and succulents as well as tropical plants from around the world.
