Paseo del Pintor Rosales is a representative street of Madrid named after the well-known painter purist Eduard Rosales. The most important attractions that can be admired at her are: the Egyptian temple Debod, monuments to the painter Rosales and Izabela de Borbon and the rosarium in the Park del Oeste with a breeding of 20,000 roses. There is also the lower station of the Teleférico de Madrid.
During the walk, it is worth visiting the Dobod temple from the 2nd century BC, donated to Spain in gratitude for help in saving the monuments from ancient Egypt. For flower lovers, a real treat will definitely be a visit to the rose garden, where you can admire about 60 varieties of roses.
Standing at Paseo del Pintor Rosales, the "La Chata" monument dedicated to the memory of Izabela de Borbón is the work of the architect García Lomas and the sculptor Alejandro Zaragoza. The statue of Eduard Rosales was designed by Mateo Inurrio.
