The Las Vistillas gardens are a quiet city park in Madrid, located on the slopes of the Campillo de las Vistillas. This area is divided into two different sections. In its northern part there is Gabriela Miró square and landscape areas. However, in the southern part of the gardens are called Parque de la Cornisa, because they are located on the edge of the gorge, in the vicinity of the Royal Basilica of San Francisco el Grande and the Madrid seminary.
The highest part of Las Vistillas hill is occupied by Gabriel Miró Square. You can find sculptures and monuments here, but this place is worth seeing mainly because of the monumental stairs leading to the top, built at the beginning of the 20th century. The Las Vistillas gardens are therefore not only a suitable place for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, but also a good observation point. There is a beautiful panorama from here.
