The Corrida Museum in Madrid is located in the Las Ventas bullring in the horse courtyard. The museum is divided into 6 thematic zones and has over 150 chronologically arranged exhibits. In the object you can see works of art dealing with the theme of corrida, a section devoted to the famous bullfighter Manolete, engravings depicting bullfighting in Goya, posters announcing the fight in the arena, costumes and clothing items belonging to the bullfighters and accessories related to fights e.g. sticks, scissors, rapiers, funnels , monteras or namderillas.
An interesting fact is the heads of the most significant bulls such as Perdigon or Burlero. The museum presents the history of Spanish bullfights in an interesting way. The most valuable elements of the collection include sculptures by Mariano Benlliure and a portrait of Belmont by Vazquez Diaz.
