The green square adjacent to the Sagrada Familia is one of the largest squares in the district. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is surrounded by a paved walkway. There are numerous flower beds with paths with benches between them.
A playground for children, a dog zone and two drinking fountains have been built in the square. There is a tour desk and a bar with a terrace displaying tables in summer. Two sculptures can be seen here, one dedicated to the memory of the Spanish ventriloquist and actor known as Toresky, and the other being a tribute to organ donors.
Every weekend, from Friday to Sunday, a handicraft and souvenir market is organized in the square. Since 1965, a Christmas market has also been held here regularly, usually consisting of around a hundred stalls. At that time, you can see nativity scenes, Christmas decorations and handicrafts.
