The old Oliva Arté factory is now home to the Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA). A rich collection has been gathered here, which consists of over 35,000 exhibits. The exhibition is to show the changes that have occurred in various industries over the centuries. Guests will see, among others a luxurious toilet bowl from the Pedralbes Palace and bottles of Xibeca Damm beer.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see what the Land Rover car used by the police of General Franco looked like, how the first TV commercials were shot, they will also be able to admire the modernist stalls from the Sant Antoni market.
The exhibition was divided into 12 thematic areas. Poblenou, or the district where the museum is located, was once an industrial area. During the Spanish Civil War, the old factory produced military equipment.
