Artà is a quiet, picturesque town surrounded by mountains. Its buildings are distinguished by the sanctuary of Sant Salvador standing on a hill. A lot of traditional buildings have also been preserved here, and the area is famous for its archaeological sites.

One of Majorca's most important archaeological discoveries has been made near Artà. The ruins of the megalithic village are now shared in the Ses Paisses Archaeological Park and are among the island's greatest historic attractions.

The town delights with its buildings consisting of stone houses covered with tiles and slate. Cobbled streets lead up to the Sanctuary of Sant Salvator, Artà's greatest attraction. The monumental building surrounded by defensive walls is reminiscent of a castle. There is a picturesque garden on the slopes of the hill, where you can relax while exploring. Nearby, you can also visit the Church of the Transfiguration, in which the windows are fitted with mosaics.

Although Arta is not located on the seashore, it is close to the beautiful Majorca beach from here. Many of them, like Cala Torta Beach, are undeveloped and allow you to rest away from the crowds.
