The open-air museum is located in the ethnographic park. It has the form of a completely reconstructed village with streets, houses and farm buildings. There is also a mill, school, town hall, church and the National House. Some of the farms belong to the national minorities - Hungarian, Ukrainian and Slovak.
The houses have different architectures - you can see buildings made of wood, stone and clay. Some are thatched, others are shingled. Some are also decorated with carved wooden pillars and have wide verandas. Next to the National House, there is an open-air stage where folk bands perform in summer.
The collection of the ethnographic museum has over 10,000 exhibits. They are divided into 4 extensive collections: icons, fabrics, ceramics and wooden products. Among them are everyday items, tools, toys, musical instruments and furniture.
