St. Andrew's Monastery

St. Andrew is located near Ion Corvin. It is located in a cave where, according to tradition, St. Andrew the Apostle. During the Ottoman rule, the grotto fell into oblivion. It was discovered during World War II and restored as a place of worship. At that time, a turret and a defensive wall were built around the cave. The whole thing is approx. 17 m long and 71 m high.
