Fountain Girl on the Waves

The Girl on the Waves Fountain in Galati is an artistic composition by Constantin Baraschi, made by the artist in 1966. The fountain has the shape of a square pool, in the middle of which stands a concrete platform lined with marble slabs. In its center there is a bronze statue, 3 m long, depicting a woman stretching. It is surrounded by six fish figures, each 110 cm in length.
