The museum's collection includes exhibits in the field of literature, handicraft, art, and ethnography, including manuscripts of works by Maria Konopnicka. Visitors can also admire the original epoch furnishings of the rooms and a collection of literary works, studies and magazines depicting the poet's life, work and activities. The facility organizes museum lessons, scientific conferences, meetings with authors as well as opera, operetta and theater performances.
The museum is located in a manor house from the 18th century, which was given to Maria Konopnicka on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of her work. The poet spent spring-summer months on the estate with her friend - painter Maria Dulębianka, whose works are also in the museum's exhibition. The manor includes a historic park with an area of over 3 ha.
One of the museum's objects is also the building of a granary, given in later years, where temporary exhibitions and a permanent biographical and literary exhibition of the poet are located.
