Glass Heritage Center

The Krosno Glass Heritage Center, opened in 2012, consists of two buildings - the main building and the so-called pre-vault cellars located in front of the western frontage of the market. It is the first facility in Poland, where visitors can not only observe spectacular presentations, but also participate in the process of glass production and decoration.

In the main building there are temporary exhibitions and a souvenir shop. In the cellars you can admire the collections of artistic glass and utility design products. You can also familiarize yourself with the properties of the glass during the experiments conducted here. The Center organizes cultural and entertainment events as well as art education classes.

Krosno is called the city of glass and is famous for its glass craft tradition. The products created here are characterized by the highest quality and original design. In Krosno there is not only the Krosno Glassworks KROSNO S.A., but also many factories and art studios creating works of art from glass. Because of the glass craft tradition, the Glass Route was marked out in the city.
