Prządki Nature Reserve

Rocky natural reserve of 13 hectares. There are sandstone rocks with original shapes created by erosion. Most of them have their own individual name. The name of the reserve is derived from the legend that the present rock is actually the girls converted into stone stones.

The gray rocks, called ostracias, reach over 20 meters. Their forms are bizarre and unique. They also have their names, eg Spinner - Baba, Spinner - Mother, Slaughter, or Herselt. Legend has it that exchanging girls in boulders was a punishment for spinning flax for Easter.

In the past, Przadki presented bare boulders with no signs of vegetation, which made them very visible against the landscape. Currently partially covered by trees.

You can also visit other nearby attractions, such as the ruins of the Gothic Castle Kamieniec in Odrzykonie. At its gate is a small rock called the Watchtower.
