The observation deck in Zamość, situated on the highest floor of the cathedral belfry at 22 m, is a perfect place for admiring the city. The view contains the main square, the old city, and even more distant districts and areas.
The belfry is part of the cathedral complex built in the 16th century on the request of Jan Zamoyski. 122 stair steps need to be beaten in order to get to the top. It's worth the effort because, in addition to the center of the city, gentle slopes of range Roztocze also can be viewed here.Less
