Through a long and very picturesque ridge of the Wetlińska Polonina leads a Main Beskid Trail and a nature path "Pełnik alpejski". Most of this expansive mountain range lies within the borders of Bieszczady National Park. Its highest reachable peak for tourists is Osadzki Wierch, which is 1255 meters above sea level high. In a very favorable conditions, one can even see Tatra Mountains. The shortest way to polonina is through the yellow route from Wyżne Mountain Pass, which has its end at the highest located hostel in Bieszczady, that is Chatka Puchatka.
A good base for trips to the polonina mountain range is Wetlina village, located at the foot of the mountain. The network of routes allows to plan hikes of different length. Polonina is worth seeing also from less frequently visited, northern side, while one hikes the yellow trail from Zatwarnica. Noteworthy is also a peak Smerek 1222 meters above the sea level high, which is separated by Orłowicz Pass and topped with a cross.
At Wyżne Pass one can see two monuments. One is to commemorate a poet Jerzy Harasymowicz, the other one is dedicated to casualties of mountain dangers and their rescuers.
