Osadzki Wierch - 1253 m

Local name: Osadzki Wierch - 1253 m n.p.m.

Located in the Bieszczadzki National Park, Osadzki Wierch is the second highest peak of the Połonina Wetlińska range. It measures 1,253 m above sea level, and its slopes are covered by rock debris called grehotem. The main Beskids Trail marked out in red, famous for its vast panoramas, is Połonina. The highest hill in the range, Roh, 1,255 m above sea level, lies off the hiking trail. At the eastern peak, Hasiakowa Skala, there is the iconic, highest located Bieszczady mountain hut - Cottage Pooh.

Połonina Wetlińska took its name from the village of Wetliny at its foot. Still in the interwar years it served as a place for grazing oxen and heifers. The higher parts of Połonina are overgrown with lush grass and Borówczyska, below there are magnificent beech forests. During World War I, positional fights took place between the Russian and Austrian armies in the Połonina massif.
