The late Baroque church of visits was built in the 18th century according to the designs of Charles Bay and Efraim Szreger. It is one of the few monuments in the capital that were not destroyed during the Second World War. Accompanying the church of the Warsaw monastery of the visit is the oldest house of this Order in Poland.
The most interesting element of the building is its Baroque façade. On the other hand, the inside of the temple is attracted primarily by the so-called. Pulp-shaped ship's bow, equipped with a sail mast, net and anchor.
For a long time, since 1960 until the retirement, the rector of the church was Father Jan Twardowski. Now at the entrance to the temple you can see the monument-epitaph with the engraved text of his last poem. In the years 1825-26 Fryderyk Chopin played at the church organs, then a pupil of the Warsaw High School.
