Museum of the History of the Polish Cooperative Movement

Local name: Muzeum Historii Spółdzielczości w Polsce

The collections of the museum concern the activity of cooperatives in Poland from the period of post-partition Poland, through the interwar years, the war years and the occupation, to the Polish People's Republic. Among the more than 24,000 exhibits are among others. documents, photographs, banners, numismatics, as well as paintings and sculptures. The separate department is a library whose collections are estimated at 10,000 books and 250 journals.

The number of exhibits is constantly increasing, mainly due to donations from cooperatives from all over Poland. Every year there are also organized round trips in selected cities in the country.

Originally, the Museum of Cooperative History was housed in the Museum building in Nałęczów. Currently it has its headquarters on the first floor of the Eagle House, which itself is worth the attention and in 1962 was entered in the register of monuments.
