The only Museum in Poland showing caricature and satirical drawing. The collection has over 20,000 objects, drawings, paintings and sculptures. There are works by many prominent Polish and foreign artists presenting valuable caricatures from the eighteenth century to the present.
Eryk Lipiński was the originator of the Museum's creation. The assortment he collected contained 2,500 objects. Today there are over 25,000. The collection contains works by foreign artists, such as H. Daumier, J. Effel, W. Hogart, but most of them are Polish works: F. Kostrzewski, K. Sichulski, J. Zaruby and M. Berezowska, as well as E. Lipiński, J. Bohdanowicz, A. Czeczot, A. Dudziński, J. Flisak, A. Krauze, A. Mleczko, S. Mrozek, M. Raczkowski and H. Sawki.
The facility mainly deals with temporary exhibitions and also takes them outside the premises. He also conducts publishing, promotional and educational campaigns, author meetings and numerous drawing competitions.
